Purchaser - a registered member buying a gift selected by a gift list holder.
Purchase of Gift - the act of paying by credit card or giving cash on delivery for the purchase of the physical gift and its delivery.
Registration - the act of opening an account by stating your name, gender, mobile number, address, date of birth, e-mail address, and creating a password.
Supplier - the location holding the physical gift.
THEGIFTERY.COM may also be referred to as we, our, or us.
You or Your refers to both purchasers and gift list holders.
Collection of Personal Information
THEGIFTERY.COM collects information when a gift list holder and purchaser registers on the website and/or creates a list. Information is also collected when a purchaser buys a gift(s) selected from a specific list. The information collected by THEGIFTERY.COM is regarded as confidential, unless a legal obligation arises whereby it is our legal duty to disclose of personal data to a regulatory body. When entering your information you consent that the personal information that you are required to provide is true and accurate. In the event where the information collected raises doubt we may ask for additional information for the purpose of authentification or identity checks. If this is the case, the additional information collected will be protected under the same privacy policy. This is to strengthen the protection we hold over our database. You will be able to edit your profile through the website by accessing your account.

Payment
All credit card payments are done through the arab african portal, THEGIFTERY.COM will not store any of this information in its database. If cash collection is requested, the delivery company will need the name, address, mobile number and the amount to be collected from the purchaser. This is essential information that will be given for a one time use and only stored in THEGIFTERY.COM`s database.
Delivery
The delivery of the gift will be carried out by a third party. The information collected regarding the gift list holder will be disclosed to this third party under strict conditions to process your order in accordance with the service you requested. The delivery company will need the name, shipping address, mobile number and the details of the product delivered. The supplier of the product purchased will not hold any information from purchasers or gift list holders.
Creation of List
We offer the possiblity of setting up a gift list as either public, private or invisible. This is to allow you as gift list holder to choose the privacy level of your list. A public list will be visible to third parties (including those who are not registered at the THEGIFTERY.COM) when browsing the website along with the information specific to the list. A private list will appear in the search results, but the information specific to the list will be password protected. Lastly, an invisible list will only appear under its gift list number and will equally be password protected.
