Gone Rural was established in 1992 in Swaziland and is committed to empowering Rural Swazi Women, alleviating poverty and supporting HIV/AIDS orphans by creating a regular income through working with traditional hand-skills to produce unique, beautiful products that are made with sustainable, natural and renewable or recycled raw materials.                           Tintsaba which means “mountains” in the local Swazi dialect, was created in 1985 to improve the lives of rural Swazi women through trainings in literacy, business, English, committee structure, health education and production techniques.
